Healthy Snack Ideas and My Fitness Routine! x


(Above) Smoked Salmon, Avocado and raw Carrots. Hartley's 10 calorie Jelly in Raspberry and Kiwi. Calories = 200.


(Above) Linda McCartney vegetarian sausages with two fried white of eggs and 2 handfuls of peas. Calories = 290 calories.


(Above) Activa yogurt in Vanilla with 200g of strawberries. Calories = 130.


(Above) Skinny Cow Minis 1 Caramel Bite (74 calories) and 1 Caramel Swirl (76 calories). Total amount of Calories 150.

Student Pasta Bake:


Ingredients Needed:

300g Gluten Free Pasta*.
1 Whole Mattesson's Sausage (chopped).**
1 half bowl of Mushrooms (chopped).
6-7 cubes of frozen Spinach or 4 handfuls of normal Spinach.
1 Jar of Pasta Bake Sauce of your choice.
100g of Grated Cheese.

* - Can use normal pasta if you prefer.
** - can use the reduced fat version, a different filling such as chicken or quorn. 

Serves: 4.

           
Step 1: Preheat oven to 190 degrees or gas mark 5. Starting boiling water in two different sauce pans (1 big one for pasta and mixture and 1 small one for spinach). 

Step 2: Cook the gluten free pasta off in a saucepan of boiling water. Boil water for spinach if using frozen spinach. If not using frozen spinach just add spinach at step 3.

Step 3: Once the pasta and spinach is cooked, drain them off and put them both back into the same sauce pan.

Step 4: Add the sausage, mushrooms and spinach (non-frozen). A
nd slowly add the sauce after adding each ingredient.


Step 5: Once stirred in put it into a baking tray. Make sure baking tray is lightly greased with a bit of olive oil or any other cooking oil put on a bit of kitchen roll.





Step 6: When it is in the baking tray add the grated cheese on top and put into the oven for about 15-20 minutes.
