Favourites: June 2014.

Hi guys,

Welcome to the first of many favourite blog. Sorry for the late blog post been looking after my brother. This is for the month of June. Can't believe this month has gone super quickly :) Hope you enjoy it :)

Make up:

Face:
My favourite foundation is a mixture of two different foundations, which are the Estee Lauder Double wear foundation in the shade: 2C3 Fresco and Revlon Nearly Naked foundation in shade Ivory.

Eyes:
For eyes I would say I'm in love with the Soup and Glory Eye Primer. As is acts as a highlight as well. Sometimes I've just wore this on it's on with some eyeliner.

My favourite eyeliner at the moment is the Rimmel Scandal eyes Waterproof Gel Liner by Kate Moss in Emerald. It has good staying power which is good for me as I have oily eyelids. I think I might get this same eyeliner by in black as so in love with it :)

Lips:
For lips I have been loving the Revlon Colour Burst Lip Butter - Sugar Frosting with the ELF Lip Balm SPF 15 in the shade Pink. Love this lip combo so much as it gives me a little bit SPF on my lips which is good for lip care :)

Fashion:

- dresses from H&M

(from left to right): Grey skull dress, fake leather leggings, dark blue top, grey and blue stripy jumper top and a blue dress with black skirt.

I really love the blue and black dress as it has some slits to the side of the dress with you can wear on its own or cover them up which is what I do.

Favourite Moments:

I have so many favourite moments this moment. One of which getting my new smart phone which is a Sony Xperia SP. If you guys would love me to do a review of this phone then let me know would be happy to do one :)

As you might not know I am off for summer break and wont be back at university till September/October time. So having all this time off I've been working and seeing my friends. As we don't see a lot of each other due to some of them working full time or at university and having part time jobs like myself. So when we do see each other we enjoy spending time with each other.

In terms of places to eat. I have been loving this juice/smoothie place in Southampton called Fuel. The one I had was called waterfall which had strawberries, oranges and pineapples. It is really good and is super refreshing considering the weather has been getting super hot over here in the UK.

Another thing I have been loving doing the blog again. I have really been missing doing the blog and want to keep on doing the blogs for as long as possible. Upcoming months I will be moving in to a shared house for university. Which is super exciting, so if you would like to see more photos of my room and what i'm going to be doing with it. Please follow my instagram: fran_helsing.

That's it for now. Don't forget to reblog this blog post, follow me on instagram fran_helsing and twitter @fran_helsing. Haul blog up tomorrow. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day guys.

Love,

Fran Helsing! x

Make up in my make up bag: June 2013

Hi everyone,

Today I am going to talk to you about what is in my make up bag. I got my make up Bag is by Ted Baker I got it from Boots the drugstore in the UK. I want to make a disclaimer here, all the stuff in this bag I got with my own money or as gifts from family or friends so yeah i'm not here to brag just here to review and hopefully you guys would like some of the products in my make up bag or have them. If so please write a comment below saying your thoughts about the product. Anyway, lets get started.

Face Products:

1. Fix and Perfect pro Primer - 002 - Rimmel London.
I thought this is a good primer, even though I don't really wear primer that much anyway. I put this on to make sure my make up stays on areas where I want make up to stay on. However, don't really notice a massive difference if my make up stays on or not but it does seem to last a while longer. I guess as I haven't used much primer before so I guess I can really compare it.

2. Hide The Blemish Concealer Stick - 001 Ivory - Rimmel London.
This was the first Concealer I ever got when I was like 14 (the one in my makeup bag is not the same one! haha), then I stopped using it for a while then rediscovered it and love it. the reason why i love it, is because it does really well to cover up my red cheeks and I carry this with me everywhere and can't not live with out it. Only down side is that it is that it is quite thick but it's not too bad.

3. The True Match foundation - Golden Ivory D1- W1 - L'oreal Paris.
My friend Izzy recommend this too me. it's really good at giving an all over cover on my cheeks and forehead area, I use this foundation every day. I put this on with a superdrug brush and buff it in with the eco tools buffing brush - I buff to the outer points of my face so it matches my neck line.

4. Illuminating Touch Brightening Concealer - Natural 2 - Collection.
I use this for under eyes and on any redness and spots which is bad and needs extra cover. It is good as it covers all of it and I will get it again.I sometimes just put this Concealers on and some powder and that's it.

5. Studio Fix Powder -  in NC20 - MAC.
I put this on ever on it's own or over everything else. It is a good product and would get it again when hits pan and is gone. It is a good value for money in some ways as got it last year still going strong.

Eye Products:

1. Eyeshadow Pallette - Undressed - MUA.
I love this palette, think it is a good cheap version of the Urban decay palette which would love to own one day but being a student MUA version would do :) I love the colours as said in other blogs so don't think you guys would want me to go over it again. it is also good if starting out a make up collection.

2. SuperCat Eyeliner - Black - Soap and Glory.
This is good at creating differ looks but not under eye or waterline really, I use the black from MUA pallette to do that. I love this eyeliner as it doesn't make a mess which is great been looking for an eyeliner like it for ages.

3. Eyebrow Pencil - Dark Brown - Rimmel London.
Love this colour on my brows and stays on all day. I think this is also good value for money as well.

4. Teeasters.
My mum got this for me from her holiday in Jersey. It think this is good at shaping brows and yeah the only one I use anyway and I keep in my bag at all time so that if I see a hair that annoys me I can get it.

5. The Falsies Volum' Express (Waterproof) Mascara - Black - Maybelline.
I can not say how much I love this mascara, on my second one now. I think Mallbelline is my favourite brand for mascara as they are cheap and make my lashes look great. This mascara is good at making eyelashes look fuller.

Lip Products:

1. Lip Smacker - Sprite.
I put this on first before putting on lip stick or just on it's own to keep my lips conditioned through out the day and not dry.

I think that is everything as it is summer so I don't have lots of lip products in there at the moment. I hope you have enjoyed my blog today. If you could comment and share this Blog that would be great :)

Thanks,

Fran Helsing x

Eye Make Up Of January 2013! x

Hi everyone,

I hope your all okay?

Just a quick blog post today as have quite a lot of work to do but I wanted to post a blog on here as haven't done one for over a week so here I am......Lets get started.

So first thing I use on my eyes is the E.L.F Eyelid Primer (£1.50) in the shade Sheer, I got this Product because I wanted my eye make up to stay on my eye a bit longer and it did work for a while but seems to now for some reason. I love elf products but this one not so much I would like to try other eye primers out there so I can compare it with the one from E.L.F.

Make Up Academy Professional Eye Palette Starry Night
MUA Pro Pallette Undressed
MUA:  Starry Night Palette

The next product I use is ever the MUA (MakeUp Academy) Eye-shadow palette in Starry Night (£4.00) which is a my night out palette for when I'm getting ready for a night out round a friend's house and I don't want to carry lots of make up with me. I love this palette as it comes with black, purples, blues, gray, sliver and a pink shades which are all great going out for night outs or even day time colours. I use the Dark blue colours (from left to right:- shade 3 and shade 5) if doing to college but meeting up with people after.

The next MUA palette I own is called Undreesed. I use this palette if I want to create a natural look espeacailly with shade 1 and 8 (from left to right) I use the shade 1 as an all over colour and the shade 8 with my E.L.F professional Eye Crease Brush or Smudge Brush (both £1.50) to add a bit of colour and definition to my eye look. What I love about MUA products is that they are so cheap and great as Christmas or birthday gifts as they come in many shades and combinations.

If I'm going for a natural look I sometimes use the eye shadow on it's own but if not I use my E.L.F Waterproof Eyeliner Pen (£1.50) in Black. I not great at the winged eye effect but when I have time I can do it okay which this eye-liner. It doesn't smudge easily like eye liners I have used in the past so I'd probably get this one again as my waterproof one.

To finish it off I use my Rimmel London Glam' Eyes Day 2 Night mascara in waterproof (blue lid), which I got about 4 months ago and I love it's staying on power, I like to use water proof mascara more than overs because you don't know what the day will bring. Another mascara I have which I use if on a night out with is becoming my favourite mascara is the Benefit they're real mascara (£18.99). It gives a great natural look to eye lashes and I love the little ball bit at the end I use on my lower lashes. So yeah I love it :)

I hope you like this blog, please share it with friends and leave suggests at the bottom of what I should do next,

look forward to hearing from you all,

Bye,

Fran Helsing! x
